Teachers' Luncheon:
African American Identity
and Multiculturalism in the
New Millennium
Join us at the Sheraton Ballroom on Saturday, October 4th,
from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.

This event is sold out!

In recognition of the strides taken by teachers to incorporate Black
history into the curriculum, ASALH has dedicated a luncheon to
honor the teachers in the city of the convention site.

This special plenary will feature a roundtable discussion on the
origins, evolution, and implications of multiculturalism for people of
African descent across the world, and will be moderated by Dr.
Karen Jackson-Weaver, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and
Diversity at Princeton's Graduate School.
